COMMISSIONS

  Lab Coats (August 2020)

  • Painted a lab coat for elementary school science teachers. The design included a globe, science beaker, calculator, and a tree with fall leaves and a double helix trunk like DNA. The lab coat was painted with acrylic fabric paint and paint markers. 

​

   Horse Portraits (June 2016, June 2017)

  • Pencil sketches of two horses  - personalized portraits of individual horses for their owners

  • Coffee Shop Art Show (2016-2018) - Displayed pencil drawings and painting artwork at St. John XXIII College Preparatory schools yearly coffee shop night

  • Galveston Poetry Club (2010) - Read my poetry at the monthly meeting of Galveston’s Poetry Club in Galveston, Texas

VOLUNTEER & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

   Down Syndrome Association of Houston (2015-2017) - Teacher

  • Taught music, art, computer and P.E. to kids at the 2016 & 2017 DSAH Camp Ability

  • Assisted kids up and down the slide at the 2015 DSAH Buddy Walk carnival

  • Greeted parents and helped children at DSAH seminars 2015-2017

   Special Olympics Texas (2015-2017)- Assistant

  • Bocce Ball Tournament: Measured the distance between the balls and timed match rounds, kept score and reset balls

  • Bowling Tournament:  Guided participants to their bowling lanes, informed players when it was their turn to bowl and kept final scores 

  • Swimming Tournament: guided the swimmers to their lanes and cheered them
